Dayë was born from a vision to create a high-end brand rooted in ethics, sustainability, and a deep respect for nature. Using upcycled products and recycled polyester, the brand takes inspiration from Costa Rica's breathtaking wildlife, natural beauty, and rich ancient culture.
The word Dayë means "sea" or "river" in the Costa Rican Cabécar dialect, reflecting a connection to nature and the flow of life.
The Logo Design
Thanks to the talented Victoria Orozco from Victoria Orozco Studio, Dayë was able to craft a logo that embodies the brand's core values and its sources of inspiration. Four key elements influenced the design of the logo, each symbolizing a unique aspect of the brand and its mission:
Earth
Represents the environment and our commitment to its preservation.
Indigenous Pottery
Pays homage to Cabécar art and culture, celebrating Costa Rica's indigenous heritage.
Volcano/Mountain
Reflects the natural richness of Costa Rica and the importance of protecting its ecosystems.
Leaf
Symbolizes transition and change, emphasizing the transformation of waste into something new and reusable.
